Christopher Casey is the Grassroots Organizer at NARAL Pro-Choice New York and the National Institute of Reproductive Health.  Before joining the staff in January 2013, Christopher was the National Lead Organizer at MoveOn.org Political Action where, as a member of MoveOn’s Field Team, he helped design, execute, and organize hard-hitting legislative and political campaigns such as helping to ensure the passage of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), protecting Medicare, electing numerous progressives to Congress, and deepening MoveOn’s emerging Field Network.

Christopher was previously a Field Director and then Deputy Field Director for the Georgia Campaign for Change, the coordinated campaign of the Democratic Party of Georgia and Obama for America during the 2007-2008 Presidential Campaign. Prior to this, Christopher served in a variety of organizing positions with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union where he successfully organized three different work sites and revitalized regional labor councils in Florida and North Carolina.
